Bumper tirm question 200 1986

Is the black/chrome trim that sits atop the bumper under the grille and headlights that blend into the corner hockey sticks different in any way from the '86-'93 years to that of the earlier '83-'85 240's? The earlier versions look as though the retaining clips are mounted lower than the later ones.
