Dear Schtaad,
Congratulations on your new ride and welcome to the board. I have a 1996 940 light pressure turbo. As you have already discovered, it is one solid and comfortable ride, better than even some of the much newer cars. The 940 is probably the pinnacle of Volvo's engineering on RWD cars. With proper maintainance, the power train is bulletproof, and this board is my main source of information on keeping my 940 in mint condition. I wish you many happy miles in your Volvo 940.
