Oil pressure light inop.....not the bulb. 200 1986

Finally got around to checking the bulb in the cluster that lights up the idiot light for the oil pressure indicator. It was fine. The wire is secure on the OP sensor on the PS of the block. How else can I jump it to determine if it's a wiring issue, which is what I think it is at this point. By the way, when the key is in KPII, the light doesn't come on with the rest of the lights either. Thanks.
