The first step, if you are certain about the lack of vacuum leaks, would be to unplug the AMM with the car turned off! This will put the car in "limp" mode. Does it run / idle better (it will NOT be perfect)? If so, your AMM is suspect.

Also check your ECU in front of the passenger door, does it have a pink label? If yes, that is highly suspect!
