Gas tank repair with tank sealer 1800 1968

I've had very good luck with the POR-15 kits. You need to follow the directions exactly and not be in a hurry to fully dry it between steps. I normally plan on it taking ten days to fully clean, etch and coat that tank with the supplied chemicals.

I've done a few tanks with one of these kits and always been happy. At the moment, two of my own cars and the tractor have tanks that have been treated with one of these kits. The tractor is going on 9 years now and is still working flawlessly.
