brake failure light on 200 1993

Son's 93 245 with ABS suddenly had "brake failure" light go on...brakes seem to work OK, though.
Does the 93 ABS have the 'octopus' valve between the 2 brake systems like the non-ABS RWD Volvos have? I have a spare 'octopus' valve for my 86 and 89 non-ABS 740's that I could replace if the 93 has one.
Any suggestions?
