Checked the voltage at the low beam plug and it was right at 12.68 +/- 0.02V.
This morning was the first I'd driven it in the dark to work and found that the lighting pattern was very nice indeed and bright enough for my liking. If I do decide to up the wattage, I will install relays and fuses along with heavier gauge wires. Thanks.
