No Start, blown ignition fuse 200 1993

Hey All:

I have a 1993 240 Classic wagon with a five speed manual, 183K.

Two mornings ago the car wouldn't start - no crank, no noise at all beyond the fuel pump noise. Dash lights dimmed a bit in the start position. Figured the kids left an interior light on (has happened before) so I put a charger on it for a few minutes and it started right up and ran like a champ that day and yesterday on multiple trips.

This morning no start, same symptoms. Charger made no difference. Last time I tried it, the dash lights went dead. Checked under dash fuses - all ok. But the 60 A ignition fuse next to the battery is blown.

Some context: I did some preventative maintenance last week: new cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, coil wire, and a new coil. Wires, coil, cap and rotor are all OEM. Plugs are Bosch Platinum. Not sure if this is relevant.

Before I start mucking around I thought I would ask for guidance. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks,

Dave
