Thinking about buying a 1991 780

I agree, the 780 looks nice, the mechanicals are strictly 700, the turbo is good, but don't get in a fender bender. You can check around the internet, but $5K seems a bit high to me, but what do I know. You can always make an offer. I have a 945 NA and yes it's slow, if your just commuting around town it's OK, but on the highway, it really needs more power, though we used ours for many many trips, at 160K it's just broken in. On the other hand, you don't have to worry that all that power will blow the guts of your tranny out of it's case :-->).
