BMW TV Ad Makes a Fool out of 240s

Haven't seen the add

"So, can someone that owns, cares for, and drives an 80s model 240 step up to a new 50K $ U.S. BMW that is brand new? Maybe, I guess."

Now a days anyone with good credit can drive around I'm a Beemer or any number of new fancy cars, would I? Hell no, I wouldn't trade in my 82 242 for all the car payments in the world just to be seen in the same car everyone else is driving around town...
