Something I have never seen 200 1991

I just bought a 1991 240 last night (got home late). I had to dolly it because the PO said it quit on her and she got a jump, drove it home and parked it ... said it had been sitting for 3 months. SO, I took an extra battery and it started ... knocked like a pea thrasher. Shut it off and checked the oil --NONE. Rolled it up on dolly with help. Got home, put oil in it. All lights on dash were on, so I raised the hood ... nothing was turning with the balancer, nothing, and it is running. All belts in place. What are my odds on it being just a separated harmonic balancer ... or do you think it is the balancer not bolted to the crankshaft, and therefore the engine is ruined? ALSO, the oil I put in came out just as fast. I suspect it is from the crankseal, but at this point who knows? It will be Friday afternoon at the earliest before I can look further...

This is what I get for buying site unseen.....
