'92 240 Auto Transmission won't shift from 3rd to 4th 200 1992

Picked up super mint 240 wagon today, only 68,000 original miles. Great car and runs really smooth. On the way home from picking up the car, my girlfriend was driving, and she pushed the 4th gear disengagement button accidentally. After I took the car for my first roll around the block I noticed the shift UP arrow on the dash was continually on and the car was not shifting into 4th gear. I looked @ the owners manual and discovered that she may have disengaged the button. I tried to push the button while parked, then also while driving. Unfortunately the transmission will still not shift into 4th gear. I'm hoping that this is a common glitch and is easily fixed but I'm also a little concerned that it may be a bit more severe. So if anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate the info, I'm a new member to the Volvo fam and could use a little friendly advice. Don't know if this matters but the arrow stay's lit all the time, even when in parked posistion.
