Rear main seal and Front crankshaft seal 444-544

PV544 1963(according to production number)

Question 1: REAR MAIN SEAL; If I am replacing it with a new style neoprene seal, do I need to do anything to the rear main seal cover, e.g. having it machined to except the newer style seal? Does the engine need to be out to fit either type of seal(neoprene or normal type) or can it be done from below?

Question 2: Front crankshaft seal; If I use a new style neoprene seal or even if I use a normal type, does the engine have to be taken out to fit it?

Question 3: Does anyone have a picture of the positions of the oil pressure switch, speedo drive connection at gearbox?

Question 4: Gearbox oil change; If I want to change or add more gear oil, does anyone have a PICTURE of the NUT/S I need to open up to top up/ change the oil.

THANKING YOU ALL IN ADVANCE

Sunil
