Hello All-
I have a 1991 740 base that currently has no brake lights. Found this out the hard way when the shiftlock wouldn't release. I replaced the #4 fuse, had brake lights for about 1 minute..and then...gone again. Replaced the fuse again, was greeted with a "pop" and a spark the minute the fuse went into the recepticle.

I'm hoping this is a quick/cheap fix. Can't drive the car until I address this.
Saw an older thread on same topic dated 9/25, but the question/subsequent answers weren't visible for some reason.
