Tire tread depth

I felt like an idiot a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't paying attention going into a round-about on hwy 7 and had to lock the brakes on my 220!! First time I heard tire squeal in decades.

I measured about 4/32 tread remaining. The cheaper Toyo tires are available in Chicago, as far as I know, and I plan on going there for Turkey day. Saves a bit on shipping, but then there is sales tax of 8% or so.

I am just concerned about a wet/icy winter. The current Conti Contacts still react pretty good.

Your rear mud flaps make the 220 look much better!! Thanks,

Klaus
