alternator bracket broken 700 1989

hello-
dash warning lights came up occasionally while driving, voltmeter reading just above the red warning area.

opened the hood and the alternator belt is barely even hooked up. the bracket adjustment bolt had broken in two. the bracket's bushing appears pretty chewed up (will attach a picture). i couldn't even get it to go all the way through the block. it seems like it is too short to even go through the block (the bushing goes in at an awkward angle and will not pull through flush). anyway it needs to be replaced, but i don't have another car, and it's the weekend...
is there some sort of temporary fix? i'm sure i can find a long bolt with a nut to replace the broken adjustment bolt, but the bushing is another story. thanks....
