87-740 broken interior heat control lever. How to fix? 700

Not sure what you mean by "broken" or "came loose". If you're saying the lever moves freely and does nothing. Behind the glove box is the mixing door. The levers cable connects to it. To remove. Start on the right hand side of the trim. It just has tension clips, work your way to the ignition switch. Unit has a couple screws that hold it in place.
