Plastic cover 200

This may be a bit difficult to describe but I’ll try. OK-’89 DL wagon. Behind the backside of the headlight, passenger side , there’s a sort of thin-ish “wall” separating the headlight from the rest of the engine compartment.

If you look lower on that ‘wall” a little down past the headlight on that 'wall', there is also a thin-ish round plastic (?) cover that appears it would be easy to reach down and pull that cover off leaving a larg-ish hole about 2½” to 3” in diameter. Its easy to touch and feels like I could pull off that round covering easily enough. Wazzit for?

Im asking cuz something I want to do in that area could utilize that hole. Thanks.
