Sweet post-tie rod replacement Alignment trick

The track on a 240 (that is the measurement, across the car, between wheel centers) is not the same front to back on a 240. Front track is 56.3" and rear track is 53.5". You need to space the fishing line out, at each back wheel, about 1-3/8". Then your fishing line should just touch the sidewalls of the front tires.

This method works nice on 700/900s with live axle, as the track is the same fron to rear.
