Getting a 240 ignition key made - FYI 200

1. Byer's Volvo, Columbus OH

- $36.54 + tax
- pre-pay, order before 2 PM, have key in 1-2 days
- need proof of ownership w/ VIN # and picture ID

"whoever's name the car is in has to order the key" - so I drive 100 miles round trip twice. (Makes sense of course - if I steal a title somehow and bring it in ....)

2. Mansfield OH Volvo: $44.46 + (if applicable) download charge + coding charge. He'd never done a 240 key but said his book shows for "240 (1986-93) coded and un-coded keys - we'll get it, you can try it and if it doesn't work we'll code it" .

I didn't think any 240 keys were coded.
