87 should take either eggcrate or slotted 740 up to 89. 90 740 was one year only, is slightly curved, others may sort of work but not truly fit. 89-90 760 is quite different, smaller, will def not fit.
I have all these grilles right now in my yard, and have owned most of these cars and have friends with those I haven't, so testing has been done for all in the past.
