Mystery Disaster while wife is a few miles from home... 200 1992

Hi,

Wife just pulled into the driveway. She was only a few miles from our house (on her way to class) when she called. She called and said the dash lights flicked on and it was hard to steer. I figured A/C compressor seized/power steering belt broke.

She pulls into garage shuts off car and it mysteriously sounds like the wiper motor is still operating (it's raining here and her wipers were moving slow). It sounded like when the wiper motor fails and it gets that rock crusher sound. I unplug battery negative and it's still making the sound-only it wasn't the wiper motor it was the coolant reservoir making the sound (bubbling).

And all belts EXCEPT for the power steering belt is nowhere to be found.

Where to go from here?

Things aren't looking good to me.

Thanks,
Travis
