92 - 240 continuing starting issue (fuel)

mentioned earlier that had trouble consistently starting Vickie (92-240 with 180,000) and had to do an "alarm-ectemy" to move non-factory kill switch installed by PO.

Then noticed plastic on fuse 6 was melted (but not blown) so sanded and retightened fuse contacts - and installed a new fuse. - - I even installed a new fuel pressure relay.

It starts most of the time, but occasionally she still won't start. Occasionally twisting fuse 6 will get it to start - my wife has claimed that beating the steering wheel has also worked.

Last time she wouldn't start until we put a jumper with aligator clips between the rights sides of fuse 4 & 6. You could hear the pump kick in and she started right up.

Since I've got a new fuel presure relay - - I'm stuck for answers for a real longerm fix.

Any help is apreciated!!
