Caliper Dust Seal Installation 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. What is the best way to install the dust seal (boot) on a 940 caliper?

I've replaced the square-edged caliper seal and cleaned the piston and cylinder.

I cannot get the dust seal to seat in its groove, in the caliper housing. The seal rubber, necessarily elastic, springs out of the groove.

Some You-tube videos did not adequately deal with seating the dust seal.

Is a special tool required?
