1987 Volvo 245 GL: Will not start

First, check the 25 amp fuse under the hood, on the left fender beside the battery.
It connects to the smaller red wire that is attached to the battery positive post and powers the fuel injection.
Make sure the fuse is good and that the connections to the fuse and battery are clean and tight.

If no start, install a jumper wire between fuses #4 and #6 (count down from the top).
Both fuel pumps should run..in-tank and Main.
Remove the gas tank cap and listen, you should hear the in-tank pump running.
The Main pump is under the car near the left rear wheel.
