I don't have brights 200 1991

I have been living without brights for a while but for a while today I had no headlights whatsoever. I removed the center console cover and pulled the multi-purpose relay at the white melted connector. After pushing the relay on and off the connector a few times, I regained my low-beams.

I then removed the big silver relay behind the battery and did the same thing and applied a little dielectric grease on the prongs, hoping for results. Still no brights. When I pull back the stalk at the steering column, I not only don't get my brights, but my lights go off altogether until I pull back the stalk once again. Any thoughts, guys? Thanks! Jim
