newish 242 radiator failing 200

The 240 and 940 radiators are identical except for the 940 having a hole for a thermo switch. The rubber plugs blowing out of those (on a 240) is a well known problem. To prevent this, a zip tie to hold the plug to the tank eliminates the problem. I would recommend either getting a 940 radiator thermo switch, or a generic tapered rubber cork and zip tying it in place.

This failure in the hands of an inexperienced driver has overheated and killed many a red block!
