Name that hose clamp? How to buy? Should I care?

What are the proper names of these types hose clamps?

I'd like to know their proper name so that I could order them online or pick them out of a catalog. Number 1, on the left, is some type of wire clamp, but that is a generic term.

Second question: When buying these, is there some way to specify a quality level? Grade? Material? I dislike buying cheap fasteners that corrode, break, or just don't work well, but I haven't found a way to stipulate "good quality" or "best quality" or specify a material.

Third question: is there a design purpose for these particular hose clamps that make them more desirable to use versus the more ubiquitous (and much cheaper) screw/band hose clamps? Does it depend on the type or function of the hose, i.e. whether the hose is used for vacuum, intake, A/C, or whatever?

Fourth question: where to buy quality hose clamps and other fasteners? Seems the only fasteners I can get at auto stores or local hardware stores are the bottom of the barrel as far as quality goes.

Thanks,
Keith Ostertag
