Just posted my '87 740 GLE for sale. To me, you can't put a price on this car. Yes it has it's flaws, but for the purposes of driving, there are none. It is a point A to B car that has never quit on me in the past 50,000 miles I've put on it, even in the worst of a blizzard. I've put tons of of work into it -- the best parts -- there's a $ amount on that. Prices for these cars are all over the place, but just in the past month I've seen them priced $4,000s, $3,000s and $2,000. Is it realistic to get $2,000? If I were rich I'd just give it to the right . . . Volvo enthusiast.
