Need advice on strut replacement 200 1993

I've reinstalled the coil spring compressor tool and then compressed the spring just a little. Strut assembly slips right into the tower. Then I remove the tool. Then I put a floor jack under the control arm and guide the strut assembly up and into position. With a deep 15/16" (or 24mm) socket on the top nut, I use that socket as a handle to do the fine adjustments of getting the three studs in the hole. This takes all the muscling out of the installation. One person can easily get the strut assembly in position and operate the floor jack handle and the "socket handle".

For the fun of Volvos,
Mike
