Exhaust - Cat to header down pipe 200 1992

Thanks for any help

The recent purchase '92 240 is missing the donut at the cat/header downpipe connection. Both sides of this connection are flared somewhat indicating a donut.
It appears the cat side bolt heads are frozen with massive rust, almost looks like studs? or tack welded?. The body of these bolts/studs is all rusted away. I cut them off and now I am trying to get the heads off the cat side flange. Looks like grinding time.

Question - FCP/IPD show the donut and a gasket for sale. It should only need the donut correct?

My '93 has a cobbled together system where half is prepped for donut the other side is flush looking like a gasket was called for. Need to replace all that when the duckets come available.
