Rough Start 700 1986

I had similar symptoms on my 1990 with 175k on it. I chased it for a long time and it turned out to be the fuel pump. When I looked at the fuel pump that I removed I could see that one of the brushes and spring that exerted pressure on it was broken. This is what must have caused my rough start in the cold. When it warmed up I guess it made better contact. At any rate many on here say that 150k is about what you can expect from the original fuel pump, so if you are at 200k plus...
