Halo spark plugs, another gimmick? 200

"Other benefits of the Halo include up to 5% increase in horsepower and torque, better cold starts, cleaner engines, and smoother acceleration. Many customers have indicated that they noticed an improvement in performance immediately after installing the plugs, however, the company indicated that vehicles should be driven between 500 to 1000 miles before realizing the full fuel-saving potential of the Halo Spark Plugs."

Really??? Among (many) other claims and recommendations, this is the one that most caught my eye... wait 500-1000 miles before noticing benefits.

Right. By that time, I forgot all about those damn plugs.

Save your money for more fuel... and remember, top the tank up in the morning when the fuel density is greater due to colder underground temperatures where the gas is stored.

Damn stuff like this just pisses me off.
