adding fog lights to bumper - 940 base 900

Hello ,

I am exploring the idea of adding amber fog lights to my bumper (found some nice vintage Cibie 55w on ebay). I have a base model 1993 940 wagon with the rear fog lights option with single on off switch. My brick does not have the built in front fog lights seen on some 940's but it does have an empty wire connector coming off the main headlamp wire zip tied up.
I have read on the board that this connector could be the option for headlight wipers (960 wire harness?). Others have said this connector could be for the stock 940 fog light option next to the main headlamp.

I found a (dual function) fog light dashboard switch that in theory could switch the rear and front lamps ? My relay tray does not currently have the fog lamp relay (oem # 9130270) installed as well.

My questions:

1. Is the currently non-connected wire at the headlamp for fogs or headlamp wiper ?
2. If it is for fogs, can it handle 55w x 2 aftermarket bulbs or should I wire it in separately.
3. Do I need the OEM relay on the relay board.
4. Is the wire/connector to the "single - rear fog switch" interchangeable with the "dual switch" or will I have to use a separate new switch instead.

Thanks,

Schumi 1
