Help ! My car has gone crazy ! 700

I have never had such a hard time finding or understanding a problem with my car like this before. All of this started by doing a simple thermostat change ? I have literally swapped every part of the fuel injection system with spares and the problem is still there. Checked for any vacuum leaks, found none, wiring, found no problem ? Car is very hard to start now. Runs erratic, runs rich, funny exhaust smell, idle fluctuates,stalls if you try to rev the engine....I can't understand it ? Hot or cold makes no difference. It just runs terrible. It was running great until the therm repair. What am I obviously missing ? I hope someone can offer some advice.

Parts changed:
1-Control unit
2-Air Mass
3-Throttle switch
4-02 sensor is new
5-Air control valve
6-Fuel pres regulator
7-Fuel inj relay
8-Resistors
