Volvo 164 - New exhaust,post K cam and M410 140-160

Have just installed my new m410 in the 1970 164 with twin Hif6 su nd 3.31 diff. What a difference it makes. Totally transformed the car into a weekend B road cruiser. Awaiting a new K cam in the post and the installation of a new exhaust. Considering a a straight through exhaust, that freed up backpressure and still a slight rumble. Definitely nothing too loud. Any comments or suggestions on the pipe diameter? I was thinking approx 2.15" in mild steel initially.
