Mixing shock and strut brands 200

My 740T needs new struts in the front. The Sachs got mushy on me after only a handful of oil changes.

As far as I know, KYB does not make Gas-a-justs for the front (but I really wish they did!) I love the gas-a-justs, but the only struts they make that will fit my 740 (and I think the 240 as well) are GR-2 - someone mentioned a new name for them.

There is no problem mixing front to back, but there is with mixing side to side. The recommendation to keep balance is good. I have stiff rear shocks and soft fronts and it irritates me.

Good luck!
