tone rings are intricate .... 200 1992

I'm not familiar with a flywheel tone-ring, but they typically have intricate teeth: e.g., have you looked at the ABS tone-rings on the hub of your front wheels? Sometimes (?) they also have a magnet embedded to establish the orientation of the crankshaft.

It's probable that the cost of a decent machinist customizing your flywheel to proper specs will far, far exceed the cost of purchasing the right flywheel.
