Rear bumper mount points 444-544

I would like to upgrade to a more modern shock-style bumper mount. Being rear ended, even mildly, can not only easily crush the original mounting bracket leading to trunk damage, but the mounting point on the spare wheel well is particularly susceptible to being crushed, which can lead to spare wheel damage.

What other points on the unibody do you see as providing a more secure mounting platform for a rear bumper? Perhaps one section is more worthy of bolstering than another?
