M47 conversion, flywheel with no tone ring, is this required? 200 1992

THis pic shows what you need; I just read a thread on TB that went into this but I cannot find it now. You do have to line up the flexplate and the flywheel precisely so the orientation of the holes can be drilled exactly, with the blank space oriented right also, but it has been done successfully.

There is an alternative;
Flywheel is the Quartermaster steel button that bolts on the back of the automatic flexplate, 7.25 twin rally disc.
