Center support size 700

Hi all,

Here's a puzzle. I have a 1989 740 non-turbo. I think I need to replace the drive shaft center support bushing because I can move the driveshaft enough by hand to make clunking sounds. I'm trying to figure out what size to buy. I measured the distance between the center support and the ujoint as 8", and I measured the shaft diameter as 2".

The FAQ says to look a the distance between the center support and the center ujoint, but does not mention year.
4" --> 1340501 support and 183265 bearing
8" --> 1209820 support and 181549 bearing

IPD says the year matters:
This kit is for 1983-1987 cars with a 1.75 inch diameter front drive line or 1988-1992 cars measuring 8 inches (208mm) from the center support bearing to the center universal joint. (4K9820, 1209820, 9445857, 181549).

Eeuroparts's description conflicts with IPD and the FAQ. It says the shaft diameter is all that matters:
Driveshaft center support (50.8 mm driveshaft) for any 740 85-92 B203/B234, 760 83-90 B230/B280, 780 all, 940 all, 960 95-97 all, S/V 90 all. Volvo quality Aftermarket. Use 183265 carrier bearing.

I'm guessing that eeuroparts is wrong, and I should go with what IPD and the FAQ say. Does this sound right?

Also, do any of you prefer a particular brand for the center support bushing?

thanks!
