Sat a year- what to check? 700

Hello all!

The engine swap fiasco I completed last year has taken a turn for the better.

I put a 92 b230ft l-block in my 90 740t, and then blew a radiator hose driving it home. Loooong story short, what should I make sure to check before test driving it, then driving it 300 miles to where I'm in school?

I plan to replace all the rad hoses and thermostat, and to use low-tox antifreeze. I also plan to drive it around a bit and get the battery charged up properly. also, driving easy and checking the brakes, flushing their fluid, etc are on my mind.

Do you all have any suggestions on things that aren't to check?

Also: is there a list of ecu's around somewhere? Mine has a flakey fuel circuit, and I want to replace it. The engine and egr sensor are both from a 92, and the existing ecu is also, but it's the flakey line (pink labels? I forget the color).

Cheers!
