Excellent work, except sorry you broke the needle. Don't feel bad. I did too, the first time I repaired one of these, as you may have guessed. I replaced it with one from an '84.

And I was sure you would see how to reset the mileage, so kudos on that.

I did not know odometergears.com had instructions for this. It must be a recent addition to their site. They are definitely the place to buy the gear. Some people balk at the price but the product is superior to the original.
