No power to intank Fuel Pump 700 1986

1986 740 GLE -- Posted for my father who is working on my sister's car

I have changed the Fuel Pump relay, checked all the fuses.

I have bench tested both fuel pumps and they both work. However when the intake pump is hooked up (to the car) it doesn't work.

Anything else that would prevent the fuel pump from getting power?
