Looking for 240 Wagon in good condition 200

Hi I just joined this brick board and have an old brick myself that is affectionately known as the White Beast. It's a 1988 240 sedan that I bought from a college kid for $800 several years ago. Currently the transmission mount is rusty as well as the floor and the exhaust fell off and clutch went out recently. My Volvo mechanic suggests getting a "new" 240 as the Beast has been deemed unsafe. It has lots of good left about it and I can drive it in town carefully even without the clutch but I think it's time for another car. I drive a custom VW GTI in the summer and am thinking of selling it to get another 240 wagon. (Here in Wisconsin we have 2 cars --one for winter and one for summer because of the snow and salt. No one likes to wreck their good car). Anyway, if I sell the GTI I will go to one car year round and would LOVE another 240 wagon 5 speed manual. Prefer cloth interior but would consider vinyl if that's the only option. I've been looking for about 6 months now and see that I can get a good to excellent condition car like this for between 3 and 5k. Color doesn't matter but I do like the blue or gray/black interior cloth vs the cream. I have almost bought several cars but just have not found the right one. If anyone can help me or knows of anyone selling a manual 240 without/minimal rust in good condition please contact me at seoul_sister_415@yahoo.com
