If you're thinking of dyeing your leather ... 200

Then I recommend this product,Leatherique Dye.I just tried it on a spare Bertone seat back and was very pleased with the results. One thing to note,I bought this product back in 2003! It has been sitting in the garage just waiting to be used.Another thing is I took a few short cuts.I did not use everything in the kit,I was just playing around to see what would happen.I did clean the leather with soap and water using a mild scotch-brite pad.I took a very small amount and thinned it with water and used a 1 inch throw-a-way brush. The results were good.It feels very soft,no streaks. The color was off by a little but I think it has to do with the fact that the product sat for so long.I could not mix it throughly again but it still looks good.I did mail the company a color swatch to match my seats. The color is a little more'yellow' but it hasn't cured completely. There are other testimonials on the internet just search Leatherique Dye.I paid $158 back in 2003,don't know if it is more or less these days.
The kit contains 1 32oz bottle Rejuenator oil good stuff makes the leather very soft
1 32oz Prestine Clean leather cleaner
1 32oz Prepping Agent to give the leather a good bite to accept the dye[this is the part I skipped]
1 32oz color dye cutom color for Volvo 81 tan
There is enough to do both front and rear seats, maybe even the door panels. The product is thinned with water and can be sprayed too.The key is to have it very thin.Pics here.
