Ok, I have an 89 244, and I have had one error code for while now... of 2-3-1. I went through the search and hear a lot of mentions of a bad ecu being the cause... a pink label 569 ecu... I was going to replace my 02 sensor this week, but should I just save the money and find a new ecu instead? I have pulled the blade fuse, resetting it before, and have checked the bellows behind my amm to check for leaks, the car seems to run fine, hisitates sometimes from a dead stop, but worst of all is my gas mileage of about 15 mpg, and a max mileage from a tank of about 250. I would love to get better mileage, but I really don't want to waste money on something if it is still doing it's job right.
