1991 940 base model heater core replacement 900 1991

hello i recently purchased a 1991 volvo 940 turbo base model and my heater core is leaking, stop leak didnt work so im wondering if anyone knows the procedure to replacing it, if you have any links or info i would greatly appreciate it. i have read the replacement is different on the base model compared to the se model.

i am also interested in know what the average life span of this car is mileage wise.
