MPG '72 142 automatic 140-160

Advancing the timing may help some. The BW35 tranny is kind of a slug so it may be
hard to get a lot better although 14 is not good.
Since cam and lifter wear are a problem on these it might be good to check your valve lift.
If your car starts VERY easily without pulling the choke it may be a little too rich.
You should have to pull the choke to get smooth running immediately after startup,
but then push it back in in a couple minutes.
