DILEMMA!! Future of 5-Speed 240 Wagon?? - $10K Why Not? 200

Ten might be a bit much - right now. But, in a few years a NICE stick wagon could be bringing that much.

I have a garage queen '90 stick wagon with 38 Kmi. on it. I bought it new and it has always been garaged and unused from November until May. It has been rained on only about a dozen times and it has never sat baking in the sun day after day. The only parts which were not on it when it left the factory are the tires, battery and brake pads; the front pads were about half worn when I changed them the rears were hardly worn, but what the hell.

That wagon is stock, clean unrusted and unsullied and I wouldn't sell it for even $20K unless I FIRST bought one as nice in silver.

My favorite 240 is a'93 stick sedan with about 75 Kmi. Not as nice as the '90 wagon, but clean as a pin. It's also being stored this winter because it's too nice to start trashing.

The sweetest running 240 we have is a '90 stick sedan with 140 Kmi. which our daughter just sent back to us. I wish I knew why, but that particular car runs out as slick as a German sewing machine.

The list goes on, but I would hesitate to sell any of them because then want would I buy?

The 240 is more than one of the greatest cars ever made - it is all the car anyone needs.

Rich
